TEXAS CORNERS
Notes: The three window on top floor stay consistent as pictures span through 1800s to 1990s. The store was known as “The Boardman Store” during late 1800s.
Notes: Raymond & Pauline Crawford married in 1947. They built a home on Crooked Lake and ran the above grocery for many years.
Notes: Wolbers moved in after the Crawford’s moved to Three Rivers.
Notes: The original townhall was log cabin on corner of R and 8th street. It moved to end of Texas Corners Drive, then eventually the top of above picture was the townhall.
Notes: Picture from 1984 when Marathon was the go to gas store.
Notes: The church was built in 1873 for a cost of $1,200. Later the second building became a schoolhouse in 1880s. The Grangers met in the basement and talked buisiness.
